Partners in Education and Integration of Internationally Educated Nurses provides a forum that brings together individuals from multiple sectors to discuss the issues IENs encounter entering and integrating into the Canadian nursing workforce.
The Internationally Educated Nurse Educator’s Network began ten years ago when a small group of committed educators from Western Canada recognized the need to meet and discuss the unique challenges facing Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) entering and integrating into the Canadian nursing workforce.
The first IEN Educators conference was held in Richmond, BC in 2006 and provided a forum to discuss the challenges and successes experienced in IEN education. The network quickly expanded and by 2010 included educators from across Canada. Annual conferences have been hosted across the country and bring together participants from multiple sectors to discuss the issues surrounding IEN migration to Canada.
This year’s conference will be held in Montreal, Quebec and hosted by the Partners in Education and Integration of Internationally Educated Nurses. It will attract professionals from business, industry, and education. More than 100 delegates are expected to attend from across Canada representing several organizations.
Conference sponsors enjoy visibility before, during and after the event through prominent recognition on promotional materials. Additional exposure through signage, the conference website and acknowledgement at the events have been designed to further amplify your presence as a sponsor.
